Welcome to the web pages for the 2008 Haywood Canada Cup Western Canadian Championships. Whether you are a racer or a fan (or even someone just wanting to know about cross-country skiing in Saskatchewan), we hope that these pages will provide you with the information you need for a wonderful experience. Everything else is already in place: mature trails, a beautiful setting, cheerful volunteers, and plenty of snow! All that's missing is you.

The La Ronge Ski Club Inc. is proud to be hosting the 2008 Western Canadian Cross Country Ski Championships. The races run Thursday February 21st, Friday February 22nd and Sunday February 24th. Saturday is a rest day but features a banquet at the La Ronge Hotel and Suites. The 2008 Westerns will be held at the Don Allen Trails, 20 km north of town inside the Lac La Ronge Provincial Park. Events will include races for atom to masters classes. Spectators are more than welcome to come and cheer on skiers from La Ronge and across western Canada.
